While we are a recreational program, the program is supported by the professional coaching staff at Barcelona United.  Futsal will positively impact our players by enhancing technical skills, improving decision-making, and boosting athletic fitness through more touches on the ball, quick thinking, and agility in a fast-paced, smaller-sided game. It develops creativity, builds confidence, and promotes better ball control due to the heavier ball and confined spaces, making it an excellent foundation for soccer players.  Volunteer coaches are also provided with all of the equipment required to make sure your child gets the most out of our programming!

• Game Dates - Saturdays November 15, 22, 29, December 6, 13, January 10, 17, 24, 31, February 7
• Game Times - 9:00AM U3/U4, 10:00AM U5/U6, 11:00AM U7/U8

Programming for the 2025-2026 soccer year is broken into 3 age-based divisions: U3/U4 (2022 & 2023 birth years), U5/U6 (2020 & 2021 birth years) and U7/U8 (2018 & 2019 birth years).  Details specific to each age group are outlined below:

U3/U4 Little Kickers: For most players this will be the first step into organized sports.  The primary focus in this age group is to introduce players to the sport of soccer.  Our curriculum allows children to experience a well-rounded approach to establishing the many critical characteristics that go into athletic success.  It all begins with FUN, and focuses on building confidence, social skills, group dynamics, agility, spatial awareness, coordination, fitness, self-esteem, listening skills and much more!

This age group will meet once a week on Saturday mornings for ten weeks for 55 minutes.  All sessions will be held at Grace Fellowship Church Pickerington.

U5/U6 Future Stars: The priority at these young ages is on individual player development in a fun and rewarding environment.  This age group is where we introduce a training environment as well as a "competitive" game atmosphere.  Players will participate in ten 55 minute long games on Saturday mornings during the season.  Our curriculum focuses on age appropriate activities and creating a child centered learning environment where individual technical skill comes before team tactics.

This age group will meet once a week on Saturday mornings for ten weeks for 55 minutes.  All sessions will be held at Grace Fellowship Church Pickerington.

U7/U8 Junior Strikers: This program is a continuation of our player development curriculum.  The primary focus for this group will still be individual technical development, however tactical concepts will be introduced and developed.  Players will participate in ten 55 minute long games on Saturday mornings during the season.  Our curriculum focuses on age appropriate activities and creating a child centered learning environment where individual technical skill comes before team tactics. 

This age group will meet once a week on Saturday mornings for ten weeks for 55 minutes.  All sessions will be held at Grace Fellowship Church Pickerington.
